Challenge:
2014’s Fog Catcher from Niner Wine Estates in Paso Robles exudes a very deep, nearly garnet-black color. The winery’s expectations were to have all their packaging components match their impressive wine color.
Solution:
To get the expected visual impact and touch, Golden State’s answer was to stain a flip lid pinewood box in black and then apply a glossy clear varnish. The silver hot foil branding we applied after nicely contrasts with this bright black.
